Well I may not be a big microsoft fan, especially their software protection program on windows XP (I own a legitmate copy of windows, I upgrade and reformat my computer a lot, and apparently they decided that I installed it too many times on the same computer, so everytime I reformat, I have to call Microsoft to get a new 30 digit number from a guy from india who cant speak english.) But regardless of the past, this is was the right call. The 360 has a reported 30 percent failure rate, probably because it is so damn powerful and so cheap, they probably pushed it too its limit. Now that the news of the failure rate came out, this was a great way to show that microsoft does care about its customer. Now I dont have to worry about having a broken for the next 2 years. So Kudos to microsoft for this decision, but boo on on most your other decisions.
Also if anyone got their 360 repaired, be sure and call Microsoft, because they claim this program is retroactive, and they will refund any repair fees.
