New York Times, CNN Money, Fox News and just about every news organization is reporting that Sony's $100 price cut is in effect either starting today or soon. Also reports from AVS Forum that if you buy a PS3 on Circuit City online it rings at $450 and then an additional PS3 controller is added for $50 for a total of $499. The ball is in your court now Microsoft!

Didn't Best Buy run a commercial a long time ago with a boy that bought a Sony Walkman only to see a flyer for the same product on sale a week later. He goes back to the store and shows the flyer to an employee and the cashier rings it up and gives him the change.
