Sonic and Knuckles plus Sonic Classics?

Postby Anayo1 » July 9th, 2007, 5:22 pm

What happens when you plug the sonic and knucles lock-on cartridge into the Sonic Classics cartridge? Does it let you play Sonic 2 and Knucles, or does it display that "NO WAY!" sign? I was just curious...

With that digression, what happens if you take a Genny model 1, CD model 1, 32X, import-playing cartridge (to adjust the shape of the plastic around the bus), game genie, Sonic and Knuckles cart, and Virtua Racing cart on top? Do you get the Leaning Tower of Sega?

You should get random Sonic & Knuckles bonus games, I remember going through all of my games and throwing them into the Sonic & Knuckles cartridge.  It would play the bonus game from either Sonic & Knuckles or Sonic 3 (were randomly generated depending on the game you put in) can't remember which bonus but it was quite cool, till I sold it like a spoiled kid.  Still wish I had that Cartridge, cherish it, its a one of a kind great sega product.  Wouldn't be surprised if it would fetch a lot of money 20 years from now, but hey thats my guess.

A Sonic and Knuckles cart fetches somewhere between $10-$15 on eBay. It's not a particularly expensive game.

Nope its not exspensive, im just saying I had it once, and dont want to spend money for it again.  I do think when genesis games become rare 20 - 30 years from now this will be one of the higher priced games.

I've watched this thread languish for too long, so I finally tried it out.  I stuck my Sonic Classics on the Sonic and Knuckles cartridge, and got the same old NO WAY with Sonic waving his finger at me.  Pretty lame!!

if you press a, b, and c all at once, you get to play a 3D 'collect the blue spheres' stage. each genny games presents a different stage.
