According to a leaked release list from Switzerland, GoW, is slated as an upcoming 2007 Game for Windows release!

**Confirmed**

"Mark Rein said the game, Gears of War will come to the PC platform soon. In fact, the game GoW was developed on a the personal computer so that is the next logical step."

Finally my PC can actually tests its capabilities with the upcoming release of this title.

Man, you need to stay around here.  I don't much like PC gaming at all, but it's nice to have updates on that whole thing.

I hope they bring the extra levels to the Xbox 360.   I dont want to spend 1000 dollars upgrading my PC just to play the extra levels.   Please don't leave behind your 360 base Microsoft.

It might run, but don't expect anymore than 4 frames at second, at 640 x 480

My bud, John, is a lead game tester, and he is at E3 currently... He has heard some rumors that there will be downloads available for GoW for the 360. I don't know what these downloads will be, but hopefully you guys can enjoy the new levels and extras also.

Wur,

Sady I don't think it really will run on your laptop... If you are planning on getting a new PC I suggest if you are patient get a custom build on. 99% of the time they last longer than the pre-made PC's.
