The Video Game Critic

I don't have much time to go into details about Sony's Press conference.  From what I read it was pretty good.  The biggest news is that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be remaining at home on the PS3.  It will be the last game in the series and the last time Hideo Kojima is involved with Metal Gear and Snake.  That statement alone just sold a million more units...  Also the game will launch world-wide simultaneously. 

Also Sony revealed a PSP Slim model...its silver and it looks um...slimmer.

G4 was saying that they had the best press conference nut I was kinda underwhelmed. I think they need to put a bigger price drop before most people will really be sold on getting a PS3. There is a sharp increase in amazon but I don't think that will hold up for long especially since they had a $499 sku before. After seeing the killzone trailer at the conference I agree that it looks much better than i thought but we have to wait till it comes out before we can see if it even gets close to Halos success. Actually my favorite game at the conference had to be echochrome. What did you think about it JLH

Yeah that game looks pretty sweet.  I love the fact that its this simple black and white game and its on the PS3.  So far I have only seen the video shown during the Sony Conference, but it looks like you have to go around the area once to complete a level.  It looks like it could be fiendishly hard and oh so satisfying.  Kudos for Sony for highlighting such a delightful game during their conference.
