To everyone out there with a PC and no 360:
yeah, Geometry Wars is pretty good. Definitely worth $5 for downloading it on the net.
I think that if they had the blessing to call it "Asteroids 2", it would be worthy of the title.

Do you gotta a link to this game? Is this game gonna require a controller with dual analogs to control, or will it use keyboard and mouse in some way? Will it be a version of the Wii game which is supposed to have a single player campaign, or will it just be the Xbox 360 version?

Don't waste your money on it if you want to use your keyboard and mouse with it. Even if it supports it, it won't be enjoyable for you and you'll get sucky scores.
A dual analog controller is a must.

grid wars, its pc clone uses the mouse to control your ship and gun. its works quite well. If not, just buy a xbox360 controller for windows.

pc version of geometry wars is awful. Takes over 60mb of space and needs 512mb ram and 128vram.
Why such high requirements? Grid Wars 2, its superior free clone, takes 5mb and needs a fraction of those specs to run in high res smoothly.
Those into f1, Murray Walker, the true voice of f1 is back in the booth this weekend.

I don't suppose there's a MAC version? There never is...
Oh, and WAY back there someone said call it "Asteroids 2"? um.. there already was a second installment, Asteroids Deluxe, along with SUPER Asteroids....

Actually, there is a mac os x grid wars 2 version. One problem, the way you describe your old mac there's no way it'll run let alone if your using os x at all.
