Yes, we need more BS in games!

It's not what you're thinking but now that I have your attention,

I don't get this at all. (the BS is Battle Star Galactica (oops that should be BSG). WHY ARE THERE NO BSG GAMES!? I don't have TV reception, so I've not seen any of the current series but I understand it's a big hit. And I grew up with and LOVED Dirk Benidict et al in the Original show of the 70's; yet the only electronic game ever made was the very first handheld(missile Attack renamed); you shot LED blips at Cylons. WHEE!

Why no liscened games? We have a THATS SO RAVEN game, several MARY KATE & ASHLEY games but NO @#$$&! BSG! WHY, BY THE HEAVENS?
HOW MANY YARNS MUST WE WAIT?

I remember the space shooter themed Battlestar game for the PS2. It was a pretty serviceable Wing Commander style shooter, but it was released before the original Sci Fi channel mini-series that eventually became the TV series. The game was changed a bit to reflect that, but it would be a stretch to say it was based on the new TV show.

Another feather in the hat of PC gaming - there is a mod based on the Freespace 2 engine called "Beyond the Red Line".  And it's *free*.   As in, you don't even have to own the original FreeSpace 2 game.  Give it a try and see what you think!
