Since I have been here, we have had many-a topic on "Nintendo Peripheals", the good, the bad, the ugly, and most often the unsupported!
Anyhow, I am hyped over this baby. The thing that hit me first is that it looked so quality, and from videos and accounts it seems very precise. Upon watching a video, it seems to translate well into the games as well. Ski jump? Brilliant!
Imagine Salom skiing! Miyamoto is talking snowboarding and they're is word of a new Wario game for the board. (To bad I ain't into Warioware!) How about a Pilotwings where sitting down you use the wimote as a control stick, the nunchuck analog stick for throttle and the board for the rudders!? I read
"Starship Troopers" on advice from BigOldCar, and alls I can say is jumpjets baby! Lean foward to move your mech, a wimote in both hands to deploy your arsenal! Who knows, would it work in a racer to have gas and brake, again, if you were seated?
I know this is a lot of pathetic hyperbole, but I am excited. I think Wii Fit will be a success and now that Nintendo is popular again, maybe things like this will have longer, fuller lives. We can only hope. Thoughts?
The only downside about "NeoNintendo" is all the extra crap you have to buy. *Which maybe ain't so new!* I don't expect them to give things away, but if this keeps up they will have to sell they're software at a loss, just like the other fellas do they're hardware.

Wii Balance Board!
Most of the peripherals that are needed for games come with them. Mario Kart is going to come with the wheel, I believe RE: Umbrella Chronicles is coming with the zapper, and I imagine the balance board comes with Wii Fit. Most of these peripherals don't cost much to make either (although the balance board seems more pricey), so they'll probably be pretty cheap to get extras.
