flying/air combat games...any suggestions? Doesn't seem to be many of them for the XBox.

I noticed Crimson Skies is available but I've got it on my PC. Is it the same game on the XBox?

No, the Xbox version of crimison skies is the a completely different game.  And you should be able to find it for about 4 dollars used at gamespot or ebgames.

Hm... I'm not sure if this counts as a flight game but Panzer Dragoon Orta is a heck of a lot of fun.

I highly recommend Crimson Skies.  It's got an awesome online multiplayer mode and fantastic single player mode.  The single player mode is a bit like GTA in that you fly around to engage your next mission.  It's incredibly addicting and fun.  I'm just hoping MS will come up with a sequel on the 360.  Fantastic game!

So far that's the only flight style game I've played on the Xbox.  Panzer Dragoon's on rails (Brilliant) but not exactly a flight game with you in control. 

Here's a couple others but I've never played them so I can't say one way or the other though Secret Weapons Over Normandy would probably be my pick.

Lastly, for another hybrid (not really a flight game) if you see Battle Engine Aquila, grab it.  You're in a mech like thing that can switch from ground to flight at ease allowing you to straf the little buggers beneath you.  Fun as heck game.
