Page problems

I am still unable to read many of the posts either because they are spread out over 3-4 pages in width (and I have a TINY monitor), or worse, two posts get entangled (it just happened on the NES vs. SMS post in the reviews page.)

Do others get these problems? The "reviews messed up" would be impossible to read even if I had a 52-inch monitor! Is it just my old netscape messing it up again?

...still no replies? Is NO one but me having these problems? No one ever gets the page spread out wide or reviews garbled up?
The SMS /NES in reviews is WAY off to the right and unreadable!
I've tried different browsers.

Sorry Blue, but I'm not having the problem, and I didn't with Win 98, XP, Ubuntu Dapper Drake, Ubuntu Breezy Badgar, or Windows Vista. I also haven't had the issue with Netscae, Mozilla, or Explorer, all of them over different versions. Also, I haven't had the problem on either of 2 P3s, my current whatever it is celron or whatever, or even a P 166. Finally, it looked fine on my Wii internet browser IIRC. So I can't be any help here.

AB, looks like its time to sell a few choice games/systems and invest in a new(er) PC.

I'm sure somebody could recommend something to meet your needs. They might even have an older system they're looking to get rid of.

alienblue, why not buy a cheap crt screen to plug into your mac if possible. That would sure things up. Or get a cheap pc. 500cad gets you a dual core 64 bit processor with 320gb hard drive and 1gb ddr2 ram. For less than half that you can get a very capable single core with 512 - 1gb ram which is more than enough for regular day activities.

So it is my iMac then....! I can't buy a new screen, the iMac is the famous "all in one" computer, nothing sans keyboard/mouse is replaceable. I would love to get a new PC , but even a $400 one on sale, while tempting, eludes me. I don't really make enough to SURVIVE now, thanks to my ex-wife getting my disability (due to obscure state law)...SHE has a brand new absolute state of the art PC AND a car! Maybe if I saved for two years....if I'm still around by then! Or if PCs are!

What are your specs? For proper internet you need about 256mb ram. Here in canada a used say 1ghz with 256mb ram about $80cad. If you want a mac blue and white 450mhz g3 mac with sometimes up to 512mb ram sell around $60-70 on ebay. crt screen about 15 - 20.

Aliemblue, just suffered that page width problem on the personnal history thread. Strange, doesn't happen with other threads and wasn't happening on that thread earlier. Must be an anomaly.
