You wanted to knwo what TB stood for? It stands for team battle, I'm kind of surprised you missed it I think it actually says it in the menu. I still find it hard to think that this and vf2 are mere C quality games. 2 is an out right A and 3 is a B, the only thing that really holds the virtua gsmes back is how difficult they are. Two for example feels nearly impossible, however it's still a great game.

Yeah the Japanese version didn't have a 3 on 3 mode. They also improved the graphics, particularly the shadows which were messed up on the Jap version. I think the Jap version may not have had a training mode option either anyone know?

Hmm...not sure, I generally avoided the japanese virtua fighters just because they never offered anything the u.s games didn't. Fighting vipers and fighters mega mix are another story though, I only have the jpn versions of those.
