.Everybody, email me your Metroid DS friend code at the address above, and be sure to state who you are on these forums. I'll compile a big list of everybody's Metroid friend code, and mail that out.
I'm thinking in a few weeks, when we all have copies of it, we should arrange a big matchup for VGC forum regulars... we need to give everyone here ample time to get a copy. Maybe we could make it a monthly or bi-weekly event, at some given time, in fact...
I'm sold! I am getting it this weekend. I'll send my info along, it will be a good time.

Also while Prime did receive critical acclaim it will never be considered one of the greatest game of all time. Super Metroid on the other hand is constantly in the top 10 of all time greatest game lists.

That's mainly because most "top 10" lists are made up of games that people believe were particularly innovative or good for their time period. Metroid Prime is the 5th-highest ranked game of all time (according to gamerankings), and its average score is even higher than Super Metroid's.
There may be a solution to your problem, though. When I originally played Prime, I was using a standard 27" TV with a composite connection. I got a 51" HDTV recently, and when I tried to play Prime on it, I also got a case of motion sickness. After I hooked my Cube up to the TV using a component cable, the motion sickness went away.
I completely agree that Super Metroid has stood the test of time. It is on my personal top ten list along with Metroid Prime. I simply think that Metroid Prime is a better game.
I just checked Gamerankings.com- MP has an average score of 95.8, and SM has an average of 95.7, all reviews taken into account. So, I suppose it's pretty useless to argue based on those statistics.
Composite cables, which have yellow, red, and white plugs, usually come with a system and are pretty crappy. If possible, you should buy an S-Video cable (it has a black plug instead of a yellow one for video), or, better yet, a component cable, which has green, blue, and red connectors for video in addition to the red and white audio cables. Each cable is a significant improvement over the last. I paid $55 for my component cable for my Gamecube, and it was completly worth it. After playing Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 4 in progressive scan, Ninja Gaiden and Halo 2 on my Xbox (which was still hooked up via composite) looked blurry and dull.
