I love AVGN. I think if people realized he was a comedian and not a serious reviewer, they would be able to enjoy his videos.

I think if his reviews were funny, I'd be able to see him as a comedian, and then I'd maybe be able to stomach his videos. It'd also be a little easier to stomach if more than 10% of his own fans understood that he was trying to be funny.
By the way, I don't think the guy has no sense of humour. When it comes to movies he certainly does have an actual sense of humour. His TMNT series review is incredibly funny. But then, apparently movies are his main interest, and I think it shows in the difference in quality between "The Nerdy Turd" and his Ninja Turtles 3 video. I think he's really missing his calling as a movie reviewer in order to make bad poop jokes.

Just a heads up that the Board James series concluded today. A lot of folks, like myself, enjoy that series as much if not more than the AVGN videos.

Board James started good before he started doing all of that stupid shit to it. That's when the need for a dumb ass story line randomly came up.

Wow, I remember this was first posted. Time flies.
I have to be in the mood to watch AVGN, but I do find him funny. I was not a fan at all of his Bugs Bunny review, and it can at times get too gross. But his reviews of the INTV/CV were pretty hilarious (especially his comment about the CV adapter).
