I think volume 1 has better games.
Genesis collection discs, the Namco Museum discs, the Midway Treasures discs, etc...........3 games per disc IS a rip-off, there's no reason why all 6 games(along with many more) shouldn't have been on ONE disc.
THIS

and is there anyway to play these fullscreen? i hate when they port shoot em ups that don't have that option as well

The pricing makes sense, they're not traditional compilations. They're simply retail disc with XBLA games with the games priced to match their downloadable counterparts.

As for full screen, I don't know what we're talking about. You guys want to be able to stretch something like a 3:4 AR vertical shooter to your 16:9 monitors?

Thankfully no developer is crazy enough to give us such a useless option.

My friends were not impressed with these. I will try to post the reviews soon.

I saw these at Kmart today for $19.99. I think I'll wait on the reviews, but I doubt I'm going to pick them up. I already bought Contra when I had my 360 online, and I'm not really wanting to pay for it again. I'm mainly interested in the upconverted Castlevania.

These are good for people who bought an Arcade 360, who don't have much storage space. I wish more companies would release compilations like this, but obviously it would be a much better bargain to have more than 3 games per disc.

I got Vol. 1, which has Symphony of the Night, Frogger, and Super Contra. I've never owned Symphony of the Night until now, Frogger is one of my favorite arcade games, and I love the Contra games so having Super Contra is nice. I didn't bother with Vol. 2 though because I own the Konami arcade collection for DS, which already has all those games.

Reviving this thread since I just picked these up and want to complain. I was in the mood to play Rush'n Attack, the only one that I didn't download when they first released. No sense paying to download it now when I can buy it on disc.

Anyways, adding to the list of issues here (The lack of content, the high score table data not saving, etc.), where are the other early Konami Xbox Live Arcade downloads?

I expected Gyruss, Time Pilot, and Scramble to be here. They're all 2006/2007 releases from Digital Eclipse just like the six games that were actually included here. I was thinking I was getting a hard copy of all of this by purchasing these two discs. Yet it looks like Konami actually withheld content in this pair of collections, despite their woefully small lineups?

Were they actually hoping to release Konami Arcade Classics Vol. 3 with just these three early 80's classics?
