well i broke down and got myself a ps3 this past weekend. though i am no fan boy and i am definetly an xbox person. I got the ps3 for some of the exclusive games, and so far, I must say that i'm very impressed with the system and very glad i bought it and will not only add to my gaming collection, but just gaming experience in general. So anyway not be rambling on, and keep gaming peeps!!!
I'm just curious because I'm still waiting to buy mine. I have eight PS3 games but not the system yet. It seems like every time I get close to buying one something happens, like Sony releasing a firmware update that bricks consoles or blocks certain USB devices like PS2-to-PS3 adapters. *The one I have supposedly doesn't work with the latest firmware update*
Just mainly the exclusives is what made my decision there are a lot of good games available on that systelm that i would like to play that i cant get on the other systems, God of war 3, the new lord of the rings game, The upcoming Twisted Metal, the list goes on lol. Move had nothing to do with it though, i'm really not that interested in the motion control stuff.
Like I said, this is why I still haven't bought a PS3.
[/QUOTE]This happens with every firmware update on the PS3, Leo. And it seems that the older backwards-compatible models are always the most commonly affected.
Just check the backlog on the PlayStation board. It's a disgrace
