I believe iPod batteries are replaceable by individuals with the correct skills and equipment. So I'm sure the same thing will be possible here much like it is with something like the save battery in a Super Nintendo cartridge.

And don't forget that you're already in this situation. Take a close look at your SixAxis or DualShock 3 controller.

Yeah, I know. My brother always changes his on his own. It just annoys me that they do this to us. I know they don't have to. Hopefully it's no harder to change yourself than it is on an iPod.

While we're on the subject, I've never owned a Nintendo handheld. Do any of them have tv/video outs?

No, but the two Super Game Boy adaptors would let you
play GB games on your tv, via your SNES. There's also a
GBA player for the Gamecube that can also read GB and GB
Colour games.

I think I'll be getting a Vita. It does sound excellent - just need to hear of some games now.

As for those Nintendo things you mentioned, they all rely on you owning a Nintendo console and then paying loads for the adaptor - not a cheap way of doing it.

I'll definitely get a PS Vita too. You're right, these adaptors weren't cheap,
then again, they added features like layers of colors, layouts, drawing functions...
It was kinda cool! Anyways, I noticed a Super Game Boy in a garage sales the other day. It was only five Euros.

The Vita is built both like a tank and performs incredibly all at the same time. Something we have not seen in a handheld for a long while. Unfortunately I've read idiotic things on article discussions comparing this with the Wii U. I sure hope those people following the Console = Handheld mentality don't ever get a career in Videogame Analysis.

Oh, that's good. I just hope that it holds up well. I mean, the PSP looks sturdy but some serious flaws reveal themselves after a while. Not that I don't love my PSP; I just wish it shut off properly.
