I agree that one is very artistic and clever. I love the new banners. It's like a visual treat whenever you visit the site. And there are so many good ones!
Has everyone check out the Banners Unplugged Original Edition?
I recently updated it to include all the banners from the old site - for both historical and entertainment purposes.
Next week I plan to create a "new edition" page featuring all the new banners.

As a fan of Warhol, I laughed when I saw the image. It really is quite clever.
I suggest a banner depicting the evolution from a simple sketch of a character to a fully-realized video game character.

Warhol would certainly have a lot of mass-produced goods to depict in his art if he ever found himself in the Mushroom Kingdom: ?-boxes, super mushrooms, 1-up mushrooms, fire flowers... an unmined reservoir for pop-art!
