Video Game dating sites?

After browsing fitness singles and match, I thought why not a video game dating site? It might go something like this:

Hi, I am a 40 year old white male who is searching for my companion in survival horror. It was game over with my last girlfriend when she left me for a Nintendo fan boy. So, I am looking to press start with someone new. Not into puzzle or cutesy games. But, I do enjoy arcadey games and of course old school video games. I am an honest guy who is not looking to boost my achievement points. If it sounds like we may kinect, I would like to hear from you.

Sounds like an interesting idea. But I have a feeling that a video game dating website would have a very lopsided male/female ratio. Maybe as high as 20/1. I bet any women who would sign up for it would instantly get dozens of messages.

Actually, I think gaming date sites probably haven't come up yet because people play online a hell of a lot nowadays, thus people meet other people online that way. Still, it's weird but I know a guy who met his wife playing Worlds of Warcraft... Good times I suppose...
