Psychic Detective is a brand new review, Primal Rage is an update.

Psychic Detective sounds like what I expect a review of Beyond: Two Souls to read like. You can probably just copy and paste the text later.

Wow, there are so many do over reviews of Primal Rage these past few weeks... I'm beginning to wonder if the Saturn version had anything to do with all this...
As for Psychic Detective... well...
I don't know, I thought Psychic Detective wasn't that bad an FMV game... It was put together better than other FMV games of its time (Supreme Warrior, Mad Dog McCree, etc.) though I do see where a lot of your pionts are coming from. Oh well, I suppose there are worse things than getting a D+...
Speaking of which, there is one game (besides Action 52 on NES) that really needs to be bashed on this site called "Plumbers Don't Wear Ties." How bad is it? It makes White Men Can't Jump on the Jaguar look like A material. Panic on Sega CD is looking at its poorly done premise and execution and laughing! I don't even think any of the Phillips CD-i games you reviewed come close to it!
There are no words that accurately describe exactly how bad it is... The only way to know is to play it yourself and see...

The Primal Rage review has the line "the game looks damned so good". Sounds kind of Yoda-ish. Actually, I guess Yoda would say "so damned good, the game does look".

One 3DO game that looks good that i'd really like to see reviewed is "Snow Job".
Agreed on Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, AVGN's review had me laughing out loud, it's barely even a "game" in that you can play it on Youtube. I did it out of curiosity just to see how crazy it got, it was definitely entertaining in a so-bad-its-terrible sort of way.

Always nice to see 3DO reviews. I have a soft spot for FMV games but I have to admit most of them are terrible. I think it is more of a nostalgia thing since I remember thinking the games looked really cool back in the early 90's... I would second a review of Plumbers Don't Wear Ties.

According to IMDB, it's not Jim Carrey, but Kevin Breznahan. I can see though how a low-res FMV game could make him look ambiguously like Carrey though.

Thanks for letting me know about the Primal Rage typo. Wasn't trying to sound like Yoda. Also, another reader pointed out that I said it was the best version outside of the arcade, but Saturn clearly holds that distinction. I'll fix that.
Primal Rage is one of those game where if you re-review one version, you're pretty much forced to re-review them all for consistency's sake. Same thing happened with Corpse Killer which many of you will recall I'm sure.

And yet, there's even more versions of Primal Rage that you haven't reviewed, which would the ones for Playstation, Game Gear and Game Boy.

Forgot about the Playstation version, but the Game Gear review is on the way.
