The Pinball Arcade Gets Physical PlayStation 4 Release!
http://pinballarcadefans.com/showthread.php/6818-PS4-Retail-Version-Released
It was announced a couple days ago as part of The Pinball Arcade's 3rd Annual 12 Days of Christmas Facebook posts. The linked thread is from a semi-official forum based on said game.
I'm sure Dave will like this a lot since he loves pinball and has a PlayStation 4.

Definitely nice to see.
I hope it starts a trend for them since I'd love to see further season disc releases of this stuff (Judging by the price and what they're releasing for the app at launch on the PS4, this should be all of season 1 and half of what they've released for PA so far).
It's going to be a tad bit of a pain playing them though but the virtues of a retail release will be enough for me to gladly deal with the hassle of perhaps having to insert a disc to go from a table I purchased as DLC to one that I only have on the disc.

Thinking about this a bit more and realized that this must just about be the earliest retail classic arcade gaming compilation in the life of a console yet. Not too shabby for a genre given up for dead even though this is a pinball collection rather than a videogame collection.
I hope that these next gen consoles yield a few more classic gaming surprises at retail like this during this new generation. This will definitely be my first PS4 purchase when that day arrives. Particularly nice for me since I've held back buying anything so far since I hoped for a retail collection and I wanted Pinball Arcade on next gen hardware like the PS4.
Getting just what I wanted.

I can confirm this game is out, I just picked it up from Toy's R US. I have only played my favorite table thus far ( Fun House). Plays very similar to PS3 version with better graphics. The online leader board does not seem to be working at this time. I will have to try other tables and report back.

The Pinball Arcade Gets Physical PlayStation 4 Release!
Heads up for people who want to get Season 2 physically, System 3 released the season for the PS4.

While it's only released in Europe, the PS4 is region-free. I don't think the game will be sped-up on North American consoles since most PAL regions have 60hz televisions these days.
