Something tells me that'd be brutal. Institutionalized is on GH2 and it's like one big guitar solo. Fun stuff.

I'd be into that. They could just ship the game with a vice to put your testicles in and bam, instant Dave Mustaine voice! In all seriousness, Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction are two of my favorite albums ever, and most the other albums are only a couple notches below.
Personally, I'd love a Soundgarden game. I played Outshined over and over when I was playing Rocksmith and had a ton a fun. The only problem would be trying to sing like Chris Cornell.

I think Rust in Peace and Peace Sells were both released in full as Rock Band DLC.
A Hendrix Rock Band game would be pretty cool. I'm not a huge Hendrix guy but Spanish Castle Magic had one of the most fun solos in GH1.
I look at what would be the most fun to play, and while I really like Nirvana, their riffs tend to be a bit simple for that. I'd buy a Soundgarden game though.

Heh. "Instant Dave Mustaine."
It's hard to imagine another Guitar Hero, unless it includes "Dad Rock."

I don't play gh so maybe this topic ain't for me, but anyway......
Agree with some mentions already,
Sound garden, stp, tool, Alice in chains, nirvana, pink Floyd, led zeppelin & of course the awesome duo of hall & oats.
First album of offspring rocked, Rolling Stones greatest hits, Herman's hermets, the turtles, monkees, moody blues, Crosby stills Nash & young, Chicago, Boston, Kansas & any other awesom cities. Jethro Tull!
Solo? Madonna, Britney Spears, Lionel Richie, Phil Collins (genesis), Elvis Presley, frank Sinatra, perry como
How about rusted root, ghandarvas, meat puppets, ink blots, tom petty
& so on & so on.
Perhaps the most worthy would be the delicious spice girls.
