Breaking news: The Order: 1886 is a bust
I heard this game has hours of unskippable cut scenes. Ugh. I think half the games is like that.

Sometimes cutscenes are really just loading screens in disguise.

Yup, you should always have the option of skipping cutscenes, even if i'm actually interested in seeing them, odds are i'm not going to want to sit through them again if i'm replaying the game.
The game apparently also gets REALLY cheap and frustrating in the last level, at least according to Angry Joe.

But maybe you can't skip them because the next section of the game is loading? That was kinda my point

Well, I rented the game and I guess it's good to go into something like the Order 1886 with lowered expectations. Because I actually enjoyed myself a lot! Yes there are a lot of cutscenes/QTEs and some pacing issues in the beginning. But the shooting is really good, the story's pretty interesting, the setting is awesome and technically the game is pretty much flawless. I can't remember a single time the frame rate stuttered or anything. And if there's any doubt, I'll put a JWK guarantee on this statement: The Order 1886 is the best looking console game ever. Even Ryse and other native 8th gen games aren't close. For those on the fence, I say give it a shot. I disagree with the critics on this one. It's a good game, just not a great one. If you realize that you'll enjoy it.

Eh, the graphics don't look that great to me from what i've seen in gameplay trailers, the color scheme looks very bland and unappealing to me.

Thanks for the info, JWK! Sounds like a solid rental then. Everyone's pretty much in a consensus about the graphics being the best seen on console, so i'm actually rather anxious to see it in action.

Just watched Angry Joe's review of this, boy the graphics are amazing !
Shame the gameplay sounds rudimentary, think it's one to pick up when the price drops.
