Suggested Games for the Gamecube?

Postby matmico399 » July 30th, 2016, 8:45 pm

Hey All.

I just picked up last night a Gamecube on Ebay for $34 with two controllers and all the cords plus $10 shipping and the remade RE. Quite a deal. Which games would you suggest for the system. I am not really into the most popular games on Nintendo, like Mario, Yoshi and all that stuff. I luv Super Smash Bros though. Suggestions?

Ok I know it's obvious I would pick a Sega game but F-Zero AX is awesome !

Pikmin is a great game. Resident Evil 4 of course. If you like Sonic, Sonic Adventure DX & Sonic Adventure 2.

Why not (with the exception of the Super Smash Bros. games)?

Wario World isn't terribly well known. It'll cost you more than the average no-name game for the system, but it's not highly sought after. However, I play it at least 2 times a year all the way through. I'd give it a shot.

Definitely get Eternal Darkness and Rogue Leader II. They were my two favorite games on the system. Both fantastic!

Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door. That's all you need.

But if you want more, Billy Hatcher, Super Mario Sunshine, and Sonic Adventure DX are some great games too. Chamber of Secrets (no joke) is a really underrated and fun game.

I second Eternal Darkness. The same company also made a great metal gear solid remake for the cube. Skies of Arcadia if you don't have it for Dreamcast. Super Monkey Ball was fun. Soul Calibur 2 and I know you said you don't really like the popular games but there were two excellent Zelda's for that system.

Congratulations. You've just acquired one of the greatest and most underrated video game consoles of all time. Since each gamer has their own tastes I can only tell you that these were the most memorable games I played on that system (still have it) with a plus next to my personal favorites.
