Happy 150th Canada
Canada is celebrating 150th birthday as Dominion of Canada. It sounds like they were not fully independent until 1982 though.

Agreed, happy 150th Canada. Now Scotland can you post more pics of people playing video games back in the day, I luv those and your comments are hysterical. Like the guy having more than just coffee in his mug!

Re: Happy 150th Canada
Thanks Scotland! My family always tries to make a big deal of Canada day, and this year we're camping with a bunch of other families and doing a bunch of fireworks. Here in Newfoundland, we only start celebrating in the afternoon, as the morning is for Beaumont-Hamel memorials.
(Note: My Father was born 7 months after Newfoundland joined Canada in 1949, so technically, I'm only a second generation Canadian. ).

Enjoy it with your family, Atarifever. Seems like a big year here with Montreal celebrating 375 and other events.
I will dig for some photos for that other thread too. Being from the age of film, I think these snapshots of everyday life for kids are not all that common.

Congratulations! You now have 1 independent year for each Pokemon in Red/Blue/Green/Yellow! (Not counting Mew or Missingno, of course. )
