Worst voice acting?

The original Resident Evil seems like an obvious pick. Whenever the voice actress for Jill speaks it sounds like an alien who is trying to blend in and failing terribly.

Hey, don't hang Chris out to dry.

"Jill! Hair's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the masterofunlocking, take it with you."

That’d be Barry that said that one.

I actually hardly remember Chris’s voice because I only played with Jill. Barry is bad but that line is worse than the delivery of it.

Of course Resident Evil would be obvious... but I'm going to agree with the FFX hate. I have said before, and even cited it as my worst PS2 game in that thread, but I really didn't like FFX, and the voice acting was part of it.

To be different though, here are my nominations:

1) Actual loser, Megaman X Command Mission: (Gamecube) I'm on the 2nd to the last level on this game, and while the battle system is fun and it is playable muted, the voice acting is atrocious and kills the game otherwise. Megaman and Zero were so much more badass before they had voices.

2)Honorable mention: Zombie Revenge (Dreamcast) I love this game, and the voice acting is terrible, but, unlike Megaman above, this has the "so bad it's good" quality.

Another one that pops in my head is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. That game is in my personal Top 10, but certainly not for the voice acting. It has some infamously bad lines. Another one.. Tenchu on the PS1. Really bad. Here's a sample:

As for FFX, I'll side with ptdebate on this one. FFX is my 2nd favorite FF game, after FF7. I haven't played the game in over 10 years now, so I don't know how well the voice acting has held up, but I thought it was decent enough when it came out. Especially by the standards at that time, which were pretty low.

All the cutscenes in modern Sonic games, even in the good ones (like Sonic Generations). I hate listening to a talking Sonic and his idiotic friends, who address the player like an infant.

Nobody's mentioned House of the Dead 2 yet? So many bad lines, you wonder if it was intentional.
