I know a lot of you aren't crazy about the icons, but I think this new "Classic Compilation" icon is useful.

I applied it to quite a few titles. Did I miss any?
By the way, it's just the Apple Time machine icon, only blue-ish.

Re: Classic Compilation Icon
I like the icons, & this one is useful, but I worry if Apple would like it.

Personally, I wouldn't care what Apple thought of it. It's changed a little bit and isn't the exact same. IMHO you're fine.

Re: Classic Compilation Icon
Apple is not going to know or care if some random guy's game review site from 1999 uses a tiny, edited version of a single icon.

Re: Classic Compilation Icon
You missed Sonic Jam. Or was that intentionally left out for some reason?

Good call about Sonic Jam. I think it qualifies.

Re: Classic Compilation Icon
It seems unnecessary. The titles of the games make it obvious that they are compilations.

I thought this at first too, but that's not necessarily the case. Sonic Jam was mentioned, and it's not obvious by name alone that it's a compilation (at least I didn't know).
Plus, another useful feature is being able to click on the icon and see a list of all classic compilations across all systems.
I like it.

Re: Classic Compilation Icon
When I read the subject and the first post, I imagined the icon would be some kind of mash-up of Pac-Man and a recycling symbol -- a bit like this, but far more compact:

Re: Classic Compilation Icon
It's a great thought, but not sure anyone could squeeze that into a 32x32 icon.
