Many I should change the title to The Video Game Critic's Sports Hall of Fame??

Yeah, I'd support that change. It's not quite as clear/descriptive as the current title, but it is catchier.

I had forgotten about Super Sidekicks! I added it as honorable mention, but it could have easily taken the top spot.

I figured that one slipped through the cracks! I remember you using Super Sidekicks as an example of great sports games in an old post. But yeah, Super Sidekicks 3 is my favorite soccer game - it's fun even for people that aren't fans of the sport - so I can easily see why it almost took the top spot.

Would it be possible to get a "Hall of Shame Sports Games" list? As much as I love the best sports games (NBA Jam, NHL 94 (and I don't even like Hockey!), etc.), sometimes I love breaking out a lukewarm sports game to have fun/make me appreciate the good ones...

Yes, I believe a "Hall of Shame" Sports Edition is coming.

By the way, a few of my friends challenged a few of my choices so I we played the games in question.

Sega Rally (Saturn) - my friend Brent is a car nut so he was very skeptical, but all he could do is rave about how smooth and fast this game is.

Hot Shots Golf Out of Bounds (PS3) - played this with a few guys and had a blast. No complaints at all.

FIFA Soccer (3DO) - played a five-player game (3 vs 2) - which few soccer games support. Great fun.

So thus far I think I can stand by my list.

It's a good list. I just wish my favorite sports game, NFL Blitz, made it in.

I would advise not writing that until you've played "Touchdown Fever" on the NES.
