Favorite Movie Series?

I think that Casino Royale is a great movie, the love story was a tad out of place for a Bond movie, but it doesn’t detract it from being a great movie. Spectre I thought was amazing and it’s still great but I watched it too much and it got a little boring. I’m sure Spectre is a movie that if you take a few years off and watch it again it’ll be amazing. I think that’s Craig’s 2nd best although tbh quantum of solace was really good too

Do two movies count as a series? If so I'd pick Going My Way/The Bells of St. Mary's.

If three or more is the requirement, I'd pick The Thin Man series of six films.

I was always huge on the alien series and I'm not even a Sci-Fi guy. But I thought one was great, the sequel phenomenal and I even enjoyed alien 3 a lot. I just hated alien Resurrection and I haven't seen the last one. But I thought for the most part it was a fantastic series.

I was an Alien fan for a long time, even before I even saw one of the movies. The first one is my favorite, I like the 2nd, hated the 3rd, and liked the 4th since it is directed by one of my favorite directors Jean Jeaunet (a Frenchman), who did Delicatessen, City of the Lost Children, and one of favorites Amelie. Heck one french actor appears in Resurrection, Dominique Pinon, who plays Vriess, the wheelchair guy with the shotgun.

James Bond, no other "series" comes close

I'm totally a Bond guy. Every time I rank the Bonds (actors or films) it's a little different. Totally depends on my mood. For the films, I probably have a pretty consistent top 5 and bottom 5, but the middle floats. I won't go on and on, but I could.
