Oh, man, TaleSpin. That game is just a drag. I wouldn't even give it a D, personally -- I found it to be a totally joyless experience.
It's really poorly designed, too. There's one boss where as far as I can tell, the only way to win is to brute-force it by wailing away and taking hits, because a clean fight is impossible thanks to the fact that you literally can't avoid some of his attacks.

i think you would like James Pond much better on the Amiga

Enjoyed reading the Talespin review for Genesis, since I remember playing it at my cousin's house when we were growing up. I agree with you about the D rating, though. We'd play it once it awhile, but it was just ok, and we'd always move on quickly to something else.
