Any of these worth getting? Perusing the videos it looks like that Freedom game is a Sonic knock off.

I say all are worth it as they all got 70+ on Metacritic combined with the fact that if you are not sure of Freedom Planet, a demo is available for free to download on Switch and the reason it similar to Sonic is because it started as a fan game before becoming what it is known as today.

It's supposed to be (and certainly looks like) an excellent one. Given how much you liked Sonic Mania, I see no reason to pass it up.

I played Momodora for an hour or so and thought it was a pretty decent Metroidvania/2D Dark Souls game with a charming art style. I heard it's not very long, either - between 5-10 hours from what I've seen. I haven't gone back to it but that's not uncommon with me - over the past few years a lot of my gaming time has been just briefly trying stuff from my backlog to see if it's worth going back to eventually and I'd say that this one is - doesn't feel like an A to me from my time with it but it could be a solid B game. I do have Freedom Planet but haven't gotten to it yet.

Critic should at the very least give Freedom Planet a try.
