Re: Christmas Loot 2019
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Presents I received:
Bloodbourne (PS4)
Collection of Mana (Switch)
Ash vs Evil Dead Blu-ray collection
Buzzard DVD
Surviving Life DVD
Other than that, I got a fuzz pedal for guitar/bass, a drum book/DVD, a couple of drawing books, the first Hellboy com9ic collection, some clothes and money.
Things I bought for myself so far:
Crypt of the Necrodancer (Switch digital)
Bastion (Switch digital)
Blazing Dragons (PS1)
A Quiet Place (DVD)
Only Lovers Left Alive (DVD)
Her (DVD)
Sicario (DVD)
Dragged across Concrete (Blu-ray/DVD)
If Chins Could Kill by Bruce Campbell (Book)
I also bought a white noise machine to help me sleep.
I've been looking at some stuff on Gamestop's site (all preowned games are Buy 2/Get 2 Free, no matter the console) but I haven't decided what to get yet.

Beany Bopper for Atari 2600. My wife will usually find a weird/quirky game as a stocking stuffer, and Beany Bopper fit the bill for this year.
Also got a Commodore 64 mini. They're only like $30 on Amazon now, so well worth picking up.

Merry Christmas!
Got the Sega Genesis Mini and six button controller...enjoying it immensely.
I treated myself to a few games off the PSN Sale:
Resident Evil 2..love it!
Resident Evil 7 which I am currently playing and enjoying as well.

Re: Christmas Loot 2019
Valfaris -> Switch.
Same company that made Slain. Might be a while before I play this. While Slain was a good game, the 5 or 6 hours it took to beat it did not tell the full story. I cannot count the number of times I died against that round Blob Boss that would shoot green balls at you.
I got a Steam card with $100 on it so am planning to buy while they have a big sale going. I can see myself picking up a lot of indie titles. Meat Boy is one on my bucket list.

I just saw the trailer for Valfaris and I thought it looked awesome - it's going on my list.
I put a lot of time into Super Meat Boy back on the 360 around 2011-12. I had a great time playing it (it has one of my favorite scores in a game as well) and struggled through to the official ending, but I tapped out at the DLC levels - I was neither good enough or masochistic enough to persist. The sequel is coming soon but will unfortunately be an Epic Games store exclusive for a year.

Re: Christmas Loot 2019
Last year my wife got me Smash Bros for Switch and Ghostbusters for Sega Master System. This year we're a little squeezed for cash, but I did get NBA 2K20.

Dragonball FighterZ on Switch, and a Sega Genesis Mini. Don't have 6 button controllers for it yet, but since I can't access the room my HD TV is in right now anyway, there isn't a big rush on that.
