Ardy Lightfoot / SNES Drunk

Postby VideoGameCritic » June 14th, 2020, 10:58 am

I've had Ardy Lightfoot (SNES) on my wanted list for a long time, but it's so expensive. Heck even a repro copy is steep!
While doing some investigation I discovered a YouTube review by "SNES Drunk" and I found it very informative.

This guy is very sensible and obviously has a pretty good knowledge of classic gaming. I really enjoyed listening to him describe the game. The game itself sounds just mildly enjoyable.

Look at this game, it's amazing, specially with the SNES mouse.

Ardy is too average for its price.

Snesdrunk is one of my favorite Youtubers. Dude has a way with saying enough without getting annoying and his laid back style is refreshing.

Have you checked out his podcast? It’s called “Drunk Friend” and it is hosted by the SNES Drunk guy and another Youtuber called NES Friend. I just recently stumbled across it and it quickly ascended the list of my favorite retro gaming podcasts.

I was playing Arty Lightfoot on my modded SNES mini this morning. Just my 2 cents but I found the controls a bit frustrating and the gameplay pretty lackluster. Not sure I would break the bank for this one unless you are die hard collector. That being said, perhaps there was something lost in the emulation but I have no way of knowing.
