I'm finishing up a lot of my summer game reviews. Flag Capture is an update (F to C-). Kool Aid Man is another update (same grade). Motocross Racer is a new review.

Hilarious Kool-Aid Man review. Why did those ads ever go away?? Now no one seems to buy Kool Aid anymore.. out of sight, out of mind I guess. Anyway... I had that game as a kid, but I don't remember playing it at all.. I think the gameplay confused me when I tried it, so I never bothered playing it.
Never heard of the other two games. Despite the bad score, I have to admit that the Motocross Racer review made me want to try it out.
Typo note: In the Kool Aid review, "not fit be serving" should be "not fit to be serving".

Glad to see a review updated on flag capture. I know there's not a whole lot to it but I always thought it was kind of a fun little distraction game. It definitely was not worth an F. Koolaid Man review is a hoot.

I’d assumed “C” was mediocre, & “D” was sub-par.

Very pleased to see the new Motocross Racer review, as I've been curious about that game for a while (and I'm always pleased to see an unreviewed game get coverage, especially a relatively unknown one).
Sounds ambitious but, like so many ambitious games, it wasn't able to deliver. Still, I'll give it a shot for myself and see what I think!

The Kool-Aid Man review had me laughing out loud. Good stuff! Flag Capture looks like a complete bore although I love the box art!

The controls in Motocross Racer are not perfect, but IMO not as bad as you describe. But the beach stage gets pretty unfair towards the end when you bike moves very close to the right screen border. Where you have almost no chance to react to any obstacles. Also the end of the game when you succeed your challenge is extremely non impressive.

Wow, I just took Motocross Racer for a drive, and what an odd duck it is. I didn't have a hard time adjusting to the controls -- at least they're sort of consistent the whole way through, in that L/R turns while U/D changes speed -- but the difficulty is often brutally unfair, with no time to anticipate anything.
The second race lets you take things at your own pace but as far as I can tell the log at the end forces you to drive off-course, which rapidly depletes your time.
There's a manual here:

It's strange that they used the difficulty switches instead of the Select button to toggle between the four difficulties, but basically, the difficulty switches change the pace time. Hard to imagine anyone sustaining 50 MPH for the whole race! And why didn't they use the fire button to accelerate, or do something like jump?
