Sadly, no plans for physical release... yet. Hopefully that will change.

This looks excellent and I am down if there is a physical copy. I do not recollect an ice level in Ghouls and Ghosts but there was a level in the SNES game (which had awesome music). Looks like this one will be an entirely new game.

It's funny - the more I looked into this game, the more tepid the reviews. Maybe this is going digital-only for a reason...

I love GnG series, but I've tried getting into Ultimate Ghost n Goblins several times and just don't enjoy it. Combination of difficulty magnified by the small screen on PSP. I would hope Resurrection will be better.

I wonder if it's going to be any easier than the original?

Limited Run may pick it up down the road.
Have to say, from the graphic art style alone, I was turned off; the style is akin to the more modern "retro-inspired" games that tend to be "hardcore" and challenging. Given the core design of GnG, this bodes ill for me to want to play with how this makes me think...
I'll stick to SGnG...

Always wondered why that release was never brought out on the bigger systems; then again, I can say that about several Capcom PSP releases. Hello, Mega Man... Powered Up and Maverick Hunter both were supposed to start new series with multiple games, but never took off because - shock - the games didn't sell well...
UGnG was a fun time, though one I would like to go back and tackle (no intention of beating, have yet to beat a single GnG game) is the Wonderswan game. One of the few B&W Wonderswan games I would say is worth the investment...

I've emulated UGnG through RetroArch and it feels easier on a larger screen, easier to see projectiles and the like.

Here's hoping Capcom brings some PSP classics to the Switch (hello, Darkstalkers, how are you today?)
