I recall trying Fievel goes West a while back, while I have fond memories of the movie, the game didn't leave much of an impression.

Thanks for remining me of Weaponlord, need to break out my Namco Evercade cart and try that...

Finally got around to trying Weaponlord on the Evercade (Namco collection 2, SNES version), and...ugh. I started the story mode, got my rear handed to me and had to restart on the easiest mode just to figure out the basic controls. In multiplayer this may be a decent game, but far from an enjoyable 16-bit fighter, especially given the long list of releases.

After seeing some gameplay footage of Fievel Goes West, I can see why this wasn't a hit, too easy bosses, and lacking in other content. Perhaps they should have given a powerup where you give your enemies the "LAAAAAAAAZY EYE!" to quote Wylie Burp
