If you can't tell, I'm setting up for the Soul Calibur 3 review.

I agree with you SCII review completely, but.. 'uncomfortable Xbox controller'? Are you using the Controller S? If not, get one. It's probably the most comfortable controller right now.. except the Xbox 360's..

The x box pad sucks for fighting games, thanks to its large gummy bear buttons.  The cube or ps2 versions are actually a lot better, not to mention they have better console characters as well.  I mean come on how can spawn not have his cape?

There are many variations of Spawn and some don't have capes.  You honestly think Heihachi is better than Spawn?  To be honest though I'm not really sure why we are even discussing pads since to play a fighter properly you need to use a stick and the XBox stick is second only to the official DC one in my opinion and the fact that you can change the head piece is a very nice touch for those who prefer their sticks in a particular style.

I think its cool that Link fights alot like he does in Super Smash Brothers. He's a real oddball character to have. I wish the three systems did that again... with three new characters.

PS2: Dante from Devil May Cry

Xbox: Ninja from Ninja Gaiden

Gamecube: Donkey Kong - hey... why the hell not? Ooooh.... The Metroid chick...

Well, Donkey Kong or Samus would be fine, but Dante and the Ninja Gaiden Ninja would be out of the question.

Isn't the ninja already in the DOA series?

Yes, Ryu (the ninja) has been in the DOA since the first game.

Personally I loved when Namco made console specific characters for the game.  I would have loved to see that happen again for Soul Calibur III.  These would have been the three characters I would have picked.

PS2 - Kratos from God of War
Xbox - Master Chief from Halo
GC - Princess Peach from Mario Bros
