Colecovision VS Atari 5200

What system has the best games? Which system had the closest arcade like games? I was looking at the critics reviews and it looks like coleco is better. What do you guys' think? Alienblue what do you think?

Man, this has been a never ending debate on the Atari age forum...I prefer the 5200 though because I get Pengo.

Atari 5200 because I've never played a ColecoVision . Any Atari system before 7800 is good,Ms.Pac Man was da' bomb,sadly Atari didn't even support their own system they ignored it in favor of the "predessecor" 2600.

I think the Atari 5200 controllers are much more comfortable.  I played both system at the Midwest Gaming show. The Atari 5200 controllers had a cushioned feel to them. My hands didn't hurt when I played the games with this controller over the Colecovision controller.

Having only played the 5200 at the Midwest Gaming Classic, and only having experienced how they work in Pac-Man, where the non-centering of the stick wouldn't be a huge problem, I'll say I greatly prefer the Colecovision controller.

Do note, though, that I actually own a CV, and have gotten used to the controller over time, so I'm providing a rather biased view here.
None of the controllers are particularly good, though, but you all knew that already.

I'll leave it up to people more familiar with both systems to comment on the libraries, but the Colecovision certainly has a pretty awesome one.

You are right about the problems of non-centering, but the Atari 5200 controllers feel comfy on the hands. You will not get carpel tunnel with Atari 5200 controllers.

I have both, love both, but I would have to say the 5200 I think its the better system. And if you get the Best Electronics controller upgrade it works 100%
