I knew I needed to get out my baseball reviews in a hurry.  I will be posting a review for MLB The Show 11 (PS3) very soon.

Ninja Blade was sitting in my queue for a long time.  A good-looking game but very aggravating!

You are spot on with Ninja Blade... there is a good game in there somewhere but I did not find it... looks great.... let down by the save points and having the game play designed around the one boss monster after another theory making it rather dated...

2K11 got WAYYY to high of a review, in my opinion. The freezing alone shouldn't make it any higher than a D. Sure, the gameplay is fun, and the announcers are great. But how can I sit there and enjoy a game when I know that it could freeze at any moment? The game basically does not work.

That said, I thoroughly enjoy this site. Keep the great reviews coming!

How would 2K11 score if it was stable?

I'm shocked at your 2K11 review. I thought it was going to be a D grade. once again, generous for such a game. never heard of Ninja Blade though.

@Samuel: probably an A-. I don't have the game yet, since I'm still decide on if I want it.

I should clarify that the game is not totally unstable.  It locked up on me once, but I've played it a dozen times so I don't think it's a common occurrence.

Still, you guys are giving me second thoughts, and I might downgrade it to a C.

It has frozen on me a total of four times, and I'm in May in my franchise. That alone wouldn't make me give it any higher than a D-. They're going to release a patch, so if they fix the freezing, I personally would give the game an A-, because it is fun when it does work. But it doesn't work, and that is inexcusable.

VGC- You mentioned the throwing, but not the fielding. My biggest complaint for 2K10 was the boring fielding. Most hits were either right to my fielders or totally unreachable. I couldn't pull off any great diving plays like I can in the NES & SNES games. The fielding in 2K10 felt so automatic. Can you please expalin how the fielding mechanics are in 2K11? THANX!
