Weirdest/Ugliest-Looking Game Consoles?

A weird-looking console can definitely catch eyes, but it can also repel potential buyers.

Here are, IMO, some of the oddest-looking ones.

Coleco Telstar:

Gakken Compact Vision TV Boy:

My Vision:

Some of the Daewoo Zemmix models (like, for example):

Viewmaster Interactivevision:

And finally, some that were just plain ugly.

Atari XEGS:

Magnavox Odyssey 3:

Socrates:

Fairchild Channel F:

You'll notice that most of these consoles are incredibly obscure.  This is most likely because their design repelled most consumers.

With that said, what do you feel are the weirdest-looking or most unattractive game consoles?

Honestly, the original model Playstation 3, the matted plastic on the second model is fantastic and is much better material.

In terms of ugliness? Jaguar, Jaguar, JAGUAR! I mean, with the CD attachment it looks like a toilet!
Then the award for extreme weirdness goes to the Coleco Telstar.
Is there any other console that has a gun, a steering wheel and a couple of knobs (...) poking out of it? It even has a gear stick! Anyone heard of joysticks?

What's wrong with the Xegs? Looks pretty standard looking for that type of machine to me.

Love the Jags looks myself, never will understand the toilet bowl analogy. I love the contouring on it and the sleek fins. Plus the colours, logo and start button are really evocative.

For me the ugliest consoles have always been all of the non slim Playstations, and I own two of them . The original Mega Drive didn't really do it for me whereas I loves the mark 2.

You must've never had the cd attachment.

And without it, you get the indentation for the cd attachment that mars what is otherwise a decent looking system.

Still, it's hardly a ugly console.

As a huge fan of the Super Famicom/ Super Nintendo, I really don't like the US SNES design. I find the Super Famicom so much better! Certainly not the ugliest console, though. Also, Bluemonkey said he thought the Megadrive Mark 2 looked better than the first one, me, I really prefer the original...

The Magnavox Odyssey looks a bit like a Pizza Hut.  It's not really ugly, but it is funny looking.

The SuperVision (90's Game Boy wannabe) has a large, tilting screen, which makes it look a bit odd.

The Epoch Cassette Vision, a late 70's Japanese system looks strange. It's looks like it's controlled by 4 knobs built into the consel.  Apparently it was semi-popular until the Famicom came out.

Just one more: the Casio PV-1000.  Another obscure Japanese system from the 80's.  It's not really ugly.  Infact, I think it looks cool.  It looks like a sleeker, blue version of the PS1, with a cartrige slot instead of a CD Drive.

(Sorry for the lack of pictures; I didn't have the time to get them.  I think Old Computers.com has pics of most of these systems.  You can find a picture of the SuperVision at Wikipedia.)

The APF Imagination machine. It started out as the APF MP 1000 game console to compete with the 2600. Then they added this monstrosity of an attachment to change it into a computer. Apparently this thing actually got a commercial release, but they are incredibly rare today.

It will be hard to top this one. That thing is hideous.

Many of the photos in my original post didn't show up.  I have fixed them here, so you can see how truly bizarre these consoles look.
