This is not a sandbox game - the story is fairly linear. However, there are alternate paths to explore including many "optional tombs".

Okay since you love it so much I will pick it up..... I played it for a bit and thought it was really good... most of the time when I play TR I think... they are okay. Though it will have to be after GOWJ and BSI.

I think this is the best review you've ever done. Given your general take on sexualized characters, I was not expecting that incredible line about the non-sexualized version of the character being much better. I am regretting that I no longer have a system that plays this game. Hopefully I can pick it up sometime next generation.
I've always hated the invincible, torpedo breasted Lara Croft for the same reason I hated the invincible, smug Pierce Brosnan version of James Bond. I can't relate to people who show no emotion, fear, or physical effects of extreme physical strain. That's why I prefer the new Bond, and I assume I would prefer the new Croft.

I liked Brosnan, but I get what you're saying.

I'm a little surprised. I expected an A- but was pleasantly surprised to see a perfect score. For those that haven't played this yet... the Critic's correct. It's outstanding in scope, execution, polish, story, and gameplay. Naughty Dog made the best "Tomb Raider" game ever with 2007's Uncharted and they just got better from there. It's only fitting that the only game that can beat Uncharted at its own game is a new Tomb Raider by stealing back many of those same ideas. This is a bold statement, but I happily stand by it. Tomb Raider 2013 is the best third person action game of the generation.
Just play this game, guys. Seriously.

Don't really see how Lara is "silly", I like this version of her quite a bit more then her original personality. 2 hours is a bit soon to start judging, the story gets better as it goes along so I say keep on going.
