Cool reviews. I always enjoy reading the DC shmups that were made after the console's lifespan. I've actually used your reviews to choose which ones to pick up and haven't been steered wrong yet. DUX has never looked very good but Neo XY looks okay. I might pick that one up if I see it for dirt cheap.

I'll preface this by saying that I'm glad people are still developing games for the Dreamcast. Sturmwind (originally a Jaguar game) looks absolutely fantastic. I've heard there are great development tools which means there should be quality releases in the future. But I'm beginning to get a little irritated with the NG[biggrin]EV Team. Their next project (due out in the fall), Razion, is yet another shooter, and the gameplay looks sharp. But the graphics are still rather plain, just like all of the other releases. For some reason, their graphical style really fit well with Gunlord, so I'll exclude that game. But Last Hope, Fast Striker, and Neo XYZ's graphics left much to be desired, especially considering this is on the Neo Geo. I was hoping that after nearly a decade and half a dozen games, they'd learn to get more out of the Neo Geo graphically, but every game is done in the same rather plain style. They have the talent to make games that play really well, it would be nice if they complemented it with sterling graphics.
