Caution: May be Educational Icon

Postby VideoGameCritic » May 7th, 2015, 7:08 pm

Our resident artist Mark Jewell provided another great icon for "Caution: May be Educational"
I thought it would go great with the new Agent USA review.

The question is, what other reviews deserve this??

Not sure if any of these have reviews but here are a few pulled from one of my lists.

Lemonade Stand (1979) MECC for the Apple II is possibly the original business sim
Airline (1982) by CCS or one of its decendents (i.e. Aerobiz for SNES)
Science Horizons Survival (1984) Sinclair & Macmillan for ZX Spectrum
Scorched Earth (1991) by Wendell Hicken has that addictive focus on calculating trajectory
Locomotion (1992) Prestige for MS-DOS with its path planning and puzzle elements
Mario Paint (1992) for Super Nintendo and some of those neat art games on 3DS
Transport Tycoon Deluxe (1995) from MicroProse is all about logistics
Bookworm Deluxe (2003) by PopCap Games for being a superbly simple and fun word game
Words Kingdom (2010) by Magicindie Softworks is an interesting derivative of Bookworm
Brain Age and Big Brain Academy (2006) for the DS. Big Brain Academy is the more enjoyable of the two.
Endless Ocean (2008) by Arika Co. for Nintendo Wii
World of Goo (2008) from 2D Boy for blending puzzles and construction in the most fun way possible
Minecraft (2009) Mojang AB probably deserves a mention here
Super Scribblenauts (2010) by 5th Cell Media really makes you think about vocabulary

...and of course any one of the Oregon Trail or SimCity games

I like this icon. Of the games you reviewed on your site, I think also the following can be labelled with this icon:

Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure (Wii)
Trivial Pursuit (Sega CD)
My Word Coach (DS)
Basic Programming (Atari 2600)
Brain Games (Atari 2600)
