Playing Flash games on your TV screen while using the wiimote as a mouse (such as at www.wiicade.com). Much better presentation than on the PC. And watching videos on youtube and Google video.

I realize you have this anti-Wii craw stuck way up your ..., and that's bound to make anybody cranky, but in any other situation, you could see that there ARE some uses for it -- besides just posting "Hello from my Wii" messages on this board.

You silly silly man, don't you even know what you enjoy? Just talk to SSX before you post so you don't appear so uniformed about having fun with a new gadget. You obviously haven't thought this through. Seriously, rethink this... did you REALLY think the web browser was cool? See? I didn't think you did.

SSX just likes to cut down any&all posts he sees.

Is he frustrated he can't get any women??

Does he have problems going to the bathroom??

There has to be a reason he has to be mean and arguementive to every post he responds to.

I'm willing to hear any theories, mine aren't so good.

It's the web like I said if you can't use a mouse and keyboard there is no point in it. I would say that about ANY system regardless of it's origin. If there was a broswer on the 360 sans mouse and keyboard it would be worthless too.

It wouldn't be intrinsically "worthless" for the reasons I've already stated. But that you would still declare it worthless a priori, well, that's a given.

Ok then it's great at playing flash games, unless that's all you do online it's still worthless as a browser.

AND ... considering that playing games is the reason I own a gaming console, I guess I don't see it as worthless as a browser. That's one of the functions of a browser

I recognize it's not the ideal browser. But I find it more useful than the PSP browser, which doesn't have a useful control that works similarly to a mouse.

I'll get the browser if I can get it while it is free, but I wouldn't pay for it. I do think that of all the systems to have a web browser, the Wii is the best, because the pointer is a more than suitable replacement for a mouse. Maybe someday a keyboard attachment could come out, although I doubt that would happen.
